Shires Sweet Iron Full Cheek Snaffle
The Shires Sweet Iron Full Cheek Snaffle is a single jointed bit made from sweet iron which oxidises to produce a sweet taste whilst warming quickly in the mouth, helping with mouthing and salivation. Raised copper ribs on the underside of the mouthpiece give a slightly harder action and can prevent the horse from taking a hold on the bit or leaning - this can be useful if your horse is strong. This single jointed bit works on the bars and tongue, giving clearer lateral control. The full cheeks help to aid and reinforce steering and turning.
