Shires Small Ring Dressage Eggbutt Bradoon
The Shires Small Ring Dressage Eggbutt Bradoon is a single jointed bit which can either be used in conjunction with a Weymouth for a double bit, or can be used alone. The small bit rings are designed to fit neatly as a double or to look proportionate for a small headed horse or pony. The single joint increases lateral control and works with a "nutcracker" action on the bars and tongue when pressure is applied; the fixed eggbutt cheeks prevent the bit rings from pinching the lips and the corners of the horse's mouth, while stabilising the mouthpiece.
