The Shires French Link Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a mild action bit which features a flat, "French link" plate which applies pressure to the horse's tongue and does not interfer with the palate. The loose rings allow the mouthpiece to move freely in the mouth while the double joint of this mouthpiece encourages the horse to accept the contact. This double joint also prevents the horse from taking a hold on the bit or leaning. This French link snaffle has a mouthpiece thickness of 17mm; bit ring measurement 65mm.
