The Shires EquiKind Ripple Loose Ring Snaffle is a very mild and soft bit which ideal for starting young horses or for those which are sensitive in the mouth or adverse to metal. The EquiKind material is apple flavoured, encouraging mouthing and acceptance of the bit. EquiKind material is strong and durable yet flexible and is warm and soft in the horse's mouth. The mouthpiece ripples add a little pressure to the tongue for additional control. The loose rings offer movement of the mouthpiece inside the horses mouth, further improving acceptance. 18mm thick mouthpiece; 65mm bit ring measurement.
