The Shires EquiKind+ Peanut Link Loose Ring Snaffle is a kind, mild action double jointed bit which encourages acceptance of a contact. The peanut link is soft against the tongue until pressure is applied. The combination of the loose rings and the flexible double joint help to discourage the horse from leaning on the bit.
EquiKind+ bits are stainless steel bits with a soft coating, offering a thinner mouthpiece than rubber bits but with a similar feel. This makes the EquiKind+ range more comfortable for horses which don't have room for a thick mouthpiece and ideal for sensitive mouths or those adverse to metal. The mouthpiece measures 15mm.
