The Neue Schule Turtle Top with Flex Loose Ring snaffle offers a revolutionary bit for over-active, busy mouths. When combined with the loose ring cheek, the Turtle Top with Flex lozenge results in an uncomplicated and mild action bit. Due to the unique angle which the rings are attached to the bit, the mouthpiece alignment remains the same regardless of rein tension, therefore offering the horse stability in the mouth. As the cannons (arms) of the bit keep the lozenge centred, thus reducing movement, this bit is ideal for horses that try to evade the bit by getting there tongue over the top - bit almost remains fixed in position.
The Turtle Top with Flex mouthpiece stays centred and arched over the tongue at all times, safely helping to prevent sideways tongue evasions. This comfortable mouthpiece re-focuses the inattentive mouth back onto the rein aids in order to achieve a soft, consistent contact.
