This bit is designed to help achieve a comfortable and quiet mouth; the Turtle Top with Flex keeps the mouthpiece centred and arched over the tongue at all times, encouraging relaxation and a soft, consistent contact.
The Turtle Top Eggbutt is good for training/dressagee as it gives the rider greater shoulder control on a circle and helps to set up correct bend when changing the rein or with lateral work. This bit is often recommended for horses with a short, tense neck.
