Neue Schule Thoroughbred Weymouth - 8010FF
The Neue Schule Thoroughbred Weymouth is designed to suit horses which are sensitive to bar pressure (e.g. Thoroughbred and Arab types who usually possess thinner-skinned, more sensitive, angular bars). The 12mm mouthpiece offers a subtle convex shape, tilted forwards at a 45° angle to the cheek shanks. This results in gentle, even pressure over the tongue and a reduction in bar pressure when the rider takes a contact. This design dramatically reduces the risk of contact with the thinner, sensitive, outer edges of the tongue and the bars of the mouth, ensuring your rein aids are delivered with clarity. If the horse isn't taking the contact forwards, this Thoroughbred Weymouth may be paired with a thicker bradoon to encourage the horse to stretch into the contact, lengthening the neck.
Supplied with a polished stainless steel curb chain.
Available in 4.75 - 5.75"; 12mm mouthpiece thickness; 7cm shank length
