Flex-On Safe-On Composite Lightweight Safety Stirrups
The Flex-On Safe-On Composite Lightweight Safety Stirrups are a lightweight (only 450g) yet incredibly strong stirrup iron, combining the benefits of the Green Composite Stirrup Irons with an innovative new safety-release feature. These stirrups are hi-tech in design, made from polyamide material reinforced with a steel core for additional strength.
The new Safe-On safety-release feature ensures that the rider's foot releases in the event of an accident. The outer arm of the stirrup opens under a certain level of pressure. It's designed to support and secure your foot, staying intact when under normal pressure (e.g. when jumping large fences) but releases when over approximately 40KG of force in the event of a rider fall.
Once the arm is released it can be easily secured again with an Allen key - simply check around the screw for debris, unscrew, reposition the arm and re-tighten the screw. The stirrup will then be ready to use again, without the need for replacement parts.
