The Bucas Power Turnout Medium Rug is a high-performance turnout rug designed to offer exceptional comfort, durability and temperature regulation for your horse. With a medium weight fill of 150g, it is ideal for use in cooler weather, offering warmth without bulk and versatility across changing seasons.

Built with a strong 1680D ballistic nylon outer shell, this rug provides outstanding protection against the elements and resists wear and tear from daily turnout. It is waterproof to over 5000 mm hydrostatic head and highly breathable to over 3000 g/24h/m², keeping your horse dry and comfortable in wet or mild conditions.

Inside, the aluminium inner coating reflects body heat back towards the horse, helping to maintain a consistent body temperature. The silver outer layer reflects sunlight, reducing the risk of overheating when the sun is out. The Stay-dry fleece lining acts as a moisture-wicking layer, meaning the rug can be placed directly onto a wet horse and left on, working like a cooler to dry the coat quickly and efficiently. It also features anti-bacterial properties to support healthy skin and hygiene.

A silk-feel lining at the shoulders prevents rubbing and protects your horse’s coat, while design features such as shoulder darts, cross surcingles, deluxe leg straps, a tail flap, and a deluxe tail cord ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The Click’n Go front closure with magnetic Snap-lock provides quick, secure fastening, while reflective strips at the front and tail flap increase visibility in low light.

This rug is also compatible with Bucas liners, quilts and coolers for flexible layering, and includes attachment points for a neck cover on Classic cut versions.
